Burn Center

September 3rd, 2010

There many patients that receive second and third degree burns throughout the United States. Burn centers are very expensive to operate in addition to the rising healthcare costs. Due to the fact that many Americans received burn injuries, we must all foot the bill as taxpayers and as great Americans. The board of commissioners has taken a proactive stance in an attempt to do away with our burn centers throughout the southeastern region of the United States of America.

Burn victims realize the importance of the care that they received upon arrival at the emergency room. They have become some of our strongest supporters helping us to keep the hospital wards open and available for future patient. Many of these patients become volunteers, activists, and also on actual supporters of our cause. They are also instrumental in helping pass laws in the U.S. Congress.

In the city of Atlanta, we treat approximately 8000 burn patients a year. As you might imagine, the cost to run a facility that will take care of 8000 poor and indigent patients can become very costly. Dr. bona fide is also very active in the poverty-stricken communities help to provide immunizations, education and healthcare for many of the burn patients.

Should you find yourself in need of a great burn center you should consider Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta Georgia. Be sure to be very active in your community and to protect your right to use the burn center in case you ever get hurt or burned. Remember as the Bible says we are our brother’s keeper. Be a great citizen and help to support our burn center, burn unit and are talented medical staff.
